Thomas Wayne Dooley, 57, of Cedar Park died on Dec. 17, 2023 after a yearlong battle with cancer.
Thomas was born on March 16, 1966 to Bill and Fannie Dooley in San Saba.
After his graduation from Round Rock High School in 1984, Thomas played collegiate tennis and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Texas in 1988.
Thomas began his career at ACME Brick, kick-starting a 33-year profession in the field of sales and finance that ended with his most recent employer, iNet Financial Services.
In 1996, his first son, Hunter, was born, and two years later his second son, Heath, was born. His boys were his pride and joy.
Throughout the years, he enjoyed helping train young tennis players, hunting and playing golf with his family and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Oscar and Velma Dooley, and George and Lorene Barker; and a nephew, William Dooley.
He is survived by his sons Hunter Dooley and wife Christine, and Heath Dooley; one brother, Terry Dooley and wife Laura; niece, Heather Dooley; Uncle Marshal and Aunt Sandy Dooley; and by several cousins.
Thomas’ memorial service will take place at the Garey House in Georgetown on Dec. 28 at 2 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in Thomas’ memory.
