Funeral set at Grace Fellowship for City Councilman Randy Clark

Randall “Randy” Glenn Clark, 70, of Lampasas, died on Feb. 5, 2023, in Austin.

Visitation with the family is set for Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Clark was born March 29, 1952, in Florence to Lawrence “Lum” and ZuElla Caskey Clark.

He loved music and learned how to play the guitar. As a teenager, he led the music at the Church of Christ in Florence. Clark graduated from Florence High School in 1970 and attended Central Texas College.

He married his high school sweetheart, Sherri Juby, on Jan. 18, 1974. The two were lifelong companions and best friends.

Clark worked in construction and played in a band in his younger years. He later began his career working for the city of Lampasas as the building official and then became director of Public Works. He was with the city for 28 years and was known for his extensive knowledge, attention to detail and determination to help the city grow.

After retirement, Clark was elected to the Lampasas City Council in 2019.

He attended Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas and enjoyed golfing, fishing, ranching, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Clark is survived by his wife, Sherri; son, Travis Clark and wife, Jeni; grandchildren Emma, Hudson and Kennedy; a brother, Larry and wife, Treva; sister-inlaw Glenda Poulos, and sister-in-law Judy Smith and husband, Kenneth; mother-in-law, Mary Juby; and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Grace Fellowship Church children’s building fund.
