Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings. Defendant Miguel Angel Zepeda of Burnet entered a plea of guilty at his arraignment on four separate charges of burglary of a building.

Officers apprehend suspect at Cooper Spring Nature Park

Lampasas-area law enforcement officers apprehended a criminal suspect Tuesday morning who allegedly fled on foot into Cooper Spring Nature Park. Lampasas Police Department officials confirmed that a search was conducted inside Cooper Spring Nature Park at 10:11 a.m.

ARRESTS

The following arrests were reported to the Lampasas Dispatch Record by area law enforcement officials. The Dispatch Record prints the name and charge(s) of people arrested on at least one Class B misdemeanor – or more serious – charge.

Kempner council OKs flag drop box

A drop box to retire unserviceable U.S. and Texas flags was approved by the Kempner City Council during Tuesday’s regular meeting. Lampasas High School junior Solomon Storm is the impetus behind the project.
