A drop box to retire unserviceable U.S. and Texas flags was approved by the Kempner City Council during Tuesday’s regular meeting.
Lampasas High School junior Solomon Storm is the impetus behind the project. As a member of Boy Scout Troop 200, Storm sees the project as a way to obtain his Eagle Scout rank and serve the community. Storm currently holds the Life Scout rank.
