On Sunday evening about 6 p.m., the Lampasas Police Department received a 911 call from a Dollar General employee, stating the downtown store had just been robbed by a white male.

Sales tax returns to numerous Central Texas cities reflected large declines this month.

Lampasas saw its tax receipts fall 6 percent, compared to those of February 2017, while in Lometa and Kempner the drops were more precipitous at 22 percent and 26 percent, respectively.
