LHS grad hospitalized after collision

Madison Roedler, a 2023 Lampasas High School graduate, was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision just before midnight Saturday. Family and friends organized a prayer vigil for her recovery at Putters & Gutters Tuesday night.

McQueen has seen success at high school

From head football coach to athletic director, and assistant principal to now principal, Joey McQueen has done it all at Lampasas High School. During Monday’s Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees meeting, the board accepted McQueen’s resignation effective at the end of June.

Tuesday’s primary election results showed many Lampasas County residents were seeking change for the positions of sheriff and Precinct 3 county commissioner. Both incumbents Jess Ramos and Lewis Bridges lost their re-election bids.

LISD board approves new scoreboard, greenhouse

Spectators at Badger Field will have a new scoreboard with video capabilities on display for the 2024 season. The purchase received the OK from the Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees during Monday’s regular meeting.
