The Lometa Independent School District Board of Trustees on Thursday adopted the District of Innovation plan prepared by its Site-Based Committee and school officials.
Trustee Tommy Maddox was absent from the board meeting.
While Lampasas Independent School District students were enjoying a day off from class Monday, school board members went to work readying the calendar for next year and holding a public hearing on the district’s Texas Academic Performance Report for 2016-2017.
Lampasas Police Department has released its crime statistics for 2017, with several categories trending the right direction: down. Felonies and adult arrests are both down, for example.
At press time Monday, forecasts called for snow accumulation across much of Central and North Texas.
