On Friday at 6:30 p.m., composer Mark Henry will give a piano recital at First Presbyterian Church featuring his original compositions. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.The church is at the corner of Third Street and South Chestnut.

Public voices objections to subdivision zoning request

Lampasas residents voiced their opinions at the first City Council meeting of 2025 over a proposed rezoning of Northington Creek Estates, a potential development on approximately 80 acres around Mills Street and East Fourth Street.
