4-H Fashion, Interior Design group to meet

A 4-H Fashion and Interior Design project meeting to begin sewing and preparing for the upcoming fashion show, design boards, upcycling team contest and craft/ jewelry show will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the county annex conference room, 409 S. Pecan St. in Lampasas.

Ihad an MRI appointment at the lab the other day. As it turns out, it was the wrong place for that particular event. This place just did blood work. Heck, they didn’t even have an MRI machine. I offered to stretch out on a small couch they had and let them scan me with a Polaroid, but no deal.

The January 2026 meeting of the ’36 Club highlighted the Lighthouse Pregnancy Center on South U.S. Highway 183 in Lampasas.The center coordinator was ill, so Robin England who is a member of the ’36 Club and sits on the Board of Directors for the pregnancy center, spoke on their behalf.

Due to an incoming winter storm and cold, cloudy conditions expected on Saturday, the Lampasas Friends of the Night Sky Star Party planned for this weekend has been canceled.The Star Party has been rescheduled for Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. at Stoneledge Winery.
