The following arrests were reported to the Lampasas Dispatch Record by area law enforcement officials. The Dispatch Record prints the name and charge(s) of people arrested on at least one Class B misdemeanor – or more serious – charge.

Spiller highlights data centers, 765-kV lines as top issues for district

Data centers and proposed 765-kilovolt transmission lines are the top concerns for Lampasas County residents and constituents in the 12 rural counties State Rep. David Spiller (R-Jacksboro) serves.

Lometa FFA rodeo tradition continues

The U.S. and Texas flags are presented to the crowd before Lometa FFA’s Jr. Rodeo gets underway Friday evening. The two-night rodeo featuring calf riding, barrel racing, goat tying and more, serves as an annual fundraiser for the group.

Numerous local residents participated in the project, and their voices narrate the film and describe the legacy of the city. ‘Lampasas -- Hometown, Texas’ premieres to local gathering

Nearly 200 Lampasas residents turned out Friday at The Adelphia for two screenings of the new, locally produced documentary “Lampasas – Hometown, Texas.

City Council addresses rumors of staff cuts

The Lampasas City Council made quick work of the agenda in a meeting Monday that centered around just a few items. Members approved a preliminary plat of the Saddle Ridge Subdivision and voted to approve the Lampasas Central Appraisal District budget for 2027.
