Chalk artist coming to speak at School Creek Baptist

School Creek Baptist Church will host Cory Devivo on Aug. 16 at its 11 a.m. worship service.Devivo uses his gift of chalk-art storytelling to bring others closer to God. He has been sharing his evangelism ministry full time through Masterpiece Ministries for 19 years.

Local historical commission honored

DISTRICT COURT

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge Debbie Garrett presiding over the day’s hearings.Defendant Hunter Walker Lee Biddy of Lampasas had a status review on a charge of assault of a public servant. The judge signed an extension of 60 days for the case.
