No injures reported from Tuesday’s fire

A structure fire was reported near downtown Lampasas Tuesday afternoon. Three agencies — Lampasas Fire Department, Lampasas Police Department and Kempner Volunteer Fire Department — responded to a fire in the 100 block of Main Street. The first call came in shortly after 2 p.m.

Paving project begins on select city roadways

A citywide hot-mix paving project began Wednesday morning and may be finished by the end of next week, Lampasas officials said. The $395,000 project was approved by the Lampasas City Council on June 27. Public works officials said Wednesday they expect the entire project to be complete by July 29.
