After several rounds of negotiations, county officials have chosen Hamilton County Hospital District EMS as the new ambulance service for Lampasas County. The rural-based provider will begin its services in October.

Skate park construction may face delay; city hears healthy budget reports

Two projects faced some controversy Monday evening during a meeting of the Lampasas City Council. After the long-awaited Campbell Skate Park was approved June 13 by the council, the project now faces a delay.

Longtime family physician set to retire in August

A doctor who has spent 35 years practicing family medicine in Lampasas will hang up his stethoscope next month for the final time. Mark Lane came to Lampasas in July 1987 to begin practicing family medicine. His last day to see patients will be Aug. 10.
