GRAND JURY

Lampasas County grand jury convened last week as part of the July term. The Lampasas County Sheriff’s Office, represented by Investigator Matt Barnes, had information that resulted in indictments against: Tommy Ray Hultz on a charge of theft on June 7.

Family displaced by Sunday fire

A Lampasas family was displaced after a fire Sunday consumed the interior of their house. Lampasas Fire Marshal John Paul Harris said Lampasas Fire Department responded to a single-story, four-bedroom, two-bath home in the 1400 block of West First Street at 10:51 a.m. after the report of a fire.
