First Presbyterian Church to host Good Friday cantata

To celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, First Presbyterian Church in Lampasas will host a Good Friday cantata on April 7. The performance will include showtimes at noon and at 6 p.m.

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings. John Thomas Alexander of Lampasas entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance greater than or equal to 1 gram and less than 4 grams.
