Tennis team sees success at recent competitions

The Lampasas tennis team traveled to Cedar Park and Killeen over the last two weeks, and they have played some solid tennis. The tournament in Cedar Park included 23 teams of Austin-area schools that all, except Lampasas and Burnet, compete in Conference 5A and 6A divisions.

Lady Badgers lose tough extra-innings game to Gateway

The Lady Badger softball team played a hard-fought, nine-inning game Tuesday night against Gateway, but they gave up a walk-off run to lose 5-4. After Gateway put up three runs in the bottom of the first inning, the Lady Badgers responded with three of their own in the top of the third.

Badgers pick up first district win over Gateway

The Badger baseball team has struggled to earn wins this season, but there have been signs pointing to success when they would do the right things. All those good things finally came together in a 4-3 win last Friday over the Gateway Gators.

Softball team struggles in game against Burnet

A 9-0 loss Friday night to the Burnet Lady Bulldogs was the first district loss this season for the Lampasas Lady Badgers. The girls struggled at the plate, picking up only two hits in the game: one from Aspen Wheeler, and one from Kamryn Kothmann.

Schedule for the 2023 football season released

The 2023 Badger football schedule has been released, and it is exactly the same as last season with flipped home and away games. The Badgers will start with a scrimmage against Salado at home and then a scrimmage at Brownwood.

Lady Badgers remain unbeaten in district

The Lampasas Lady Badgers came out of the gates on fire Tuesday, and they scored eight runs in their first at-bat on the way to a 13-0 win in five innings over the Marble Falls Lady Mustangs. Three different girls had two hits in the game.
