Mia Mulcahy and the Lady Badgers played in the Hamilton tournament last weekend, and they played Rosebud at home on Monday. To finish the week, they will play Lago Vista today at 11 a.m.

After a tough second half of football, the Badgers saw their season officially come to an end when they lost to Canyon West Plains 42-7.In the first half, the two teams played a very competitive couple of quarters.

Playing football as Thanksgiving approaches is the goal of every high school team in the state when the season starts. The Badgers are getting to experience that this week as they gear up for a trip to Snyder to take on Canyon West Plains in the second round of the playoffs.

On Tuesday night, the Badger basketball team played its first road game of the season when they headed to Austin to match up with Eastside Memorial. The Badgers emerged as victors, 77-17.Lampasas jumped out to a 20-3 lead after the first quarter.

The Lady Badgers had a tough game Tuesday night, as they ran into a talented and fast Brownwood team that put them behind early and never looked back.Ultimately, Lampasas fell 66-35 in the contest.After the first quarter, the Lady Badgers were down 215.

Kicker Zimri Vergara and the special teams unit had a busy night last Thursday when Lampasas took on San Angelo Lake View to open the high school postseason football competition. With the Badgers’ 52-14 victory, Vergara accounted for seven successful point-after attempts and one field goal.

Lady Badgers set to take on Brownwood

Kenedi Smart and the Lady Badger basketball team is hitting the road tonight to take on the Brownwood Lady Lions. The junior varsity game is set to start at 5 p.m., and the varsity will start around 6:30 p.m. The girls’ basketball team is currently 2-0 early on this season.
