Rainbow trout stocking returns to Texas waters

Just in time for the holiday season, rainbow trout arrives at waterbodies across the state for the annual Texas winter tradition of trout fishing. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has begun stocking thousands of rainbow trout at the end of November.

Badgers rout Lago Vista to end November action

Before heading into the Thanksgiving holidays, the Badgers played host Tuesday to the Lago Vista Vikings. They started fast and finished strong on their way to a 72-45 win.This win came on the heels of the team’s first loss of the season, a 6550 defeat on Monday to Copperas Cove.

Girls’ basketball picks up two wins before Thanksgiving break

The Lady Badger basketball team beat Rosebud Lott on Monday evening, and then beat Lago Vista Tuesday morning to wrap up action prior to the Thanksgiving break on a positive note.Against Lago Vista, the Lampasas girls won in dominant fashion, 45-26.

Basketball team wins dogfight over China Spring

In game number three of the season, the Badger basketball team officially was tested in a tough, four-quarter game against China Spring on Saturday. They came out on top at 53-48.In the first quarter, the Cougars hit a shot at the buzzer to take a 10-9 lead heading into the second quarter.
