Coach brings new energy to Lady Badger soccer program

The Lady Badger soccer program has gotten an injection of excitement with the hiring of Kim Burnside to be the new head coach.She came to Lampasas from Burnet, where Burnside built a successful program that had success against Lampasas while she was there.

Wrestling team participates in Santa Slam in Burleson

In what was their second wrestling meet of the season, the Badger wrestlers traveled to Burleson for the Santa Slam event.Head coach Donovan Kleckner said some of the standouts for Lampasas were Kaiden Fernandez, Campbell Roberts, Lane Conner, Jordan Winfree and Dionna Schulz.

Girls’ basketball sweeps Brady tournament, moves to 10-8

Over the weekend, the Lady Badger basketball team went 4-0 in the Brady tournament and took home the championship.The girls opened the tournament with a 5442 win over Brady on Thursday, then followed that with a 53-32 win over May.

Badgers go 3-1 in tournament at Childress

The Badger basketball team played in its final road tournament of the season over the weekend in Childress.Over the course of four games, Lampasas finished 3-1 with wins over San Angelo Lake View, Iowa Park and Wellington, and a tough loss to Idalou.
