The Badger wrestling team had multiple competitors finish on the podium at the Jim Grimm Tournament at Lake Belton High School over the weekend.For the varsity, Kaiden Fernandez captured a first-place finish for Lampasas.

On Tuesday night, the Lady Badger soccer team faced the Gateway Lady Gators, an opponent they played last weekend at their tournament.The Lady Badgers won 3-1 in a match where they dominated the second half to turn a 1-1 game at the half into a victory.

Boys’ soccer team wins tight game over Legacy Ranch

The Badger soccer team won a 3-2 match over the new high school in Liberty Hill, Legacy Ranch.The Badgers led on three different occasions in the match at 1-0, 2-1 and eventually at 3-2. Once they got that 3-2 lead, they were able to hold serve and keep the lead until the final whistle.

Tensions got very high down the stretch, as Calum Mitchell hit a free throw with less than a second left to ice the game and give the Badgers a 53-49 road win over the Taylor Ducks last Friday night.

The Lady Badger soccer team had quite the weekend, as the girls brought home some hardware from the Cameron Yoe tournament where they emerged as champions.In the first game, the Lady Badgers were dominant against Holy Trinity, winning 8-0.
