Lady Badgers suffer close loss on the road at Marble Falls

After building a sevenpoint lead early in the fourth quarter of their game against Marble Falls last Friday, the Lady Badgers couldn’t quite close the deal. They lost 49-47 in a nail-biter that came down to the final seconds of the basketball game.

A 24-point win over Taylor on Wednesday meant the Lady Badger basketball team has back-to-back, 20-pluspoint wins over district opponents and now sits at 4-2 in district play.The Lady Badgers started the game a little slowly.

Boys’ basketball dominates first half, wins big over Taylor

A 29-point halftime lead was enough for the Badgers to put away their game against Taylor on Wednesday night.The final score was 74-46 after both teams coasted a bit through the second half of the contest.

Badgers survive scare in Burnet, move to 6-0 in district

Playing on the road against Burnet has always been difficult for Badger athletics regardless of the sport. Last Friday night was no exception for the boys’ basketball team. The Badgers went over there and won a tough game that went down to the wire, 56-49.
