The Hornets emerged as 47-37 winners in a game where they forced Rochelle to take more threepoint shots than two-point shots because of the quality of defense in the paint.

Lampasas cheerleaders finish in top 10 at state championships

The Lampasas High School cheerleaders competed in the UIL Spirit State Championships last weekend at the Fort Worth Convention Center. After competing in the preliminary round Friday morning, the team was announced as one of the top 20 and got the opportunity to compete in the championship round that evening, according to coach Shannon Lindsey.
