Soccer teams lose tight matches to Stephenville

Last Friday, the two Lampasas varsity soccer teams played their final matches of the first half of district play against Stephenville. Both lost very close matches.The Lady Badgers lost 2-0, giving up one goal in each of the two halves.

Softball team dominates at the plate in first tournament

The Lady Badger softball team went 5-1 in its first tournament of the season. Playing in College Station, the offense exploded as the Lady Badgers scored at least six runs in all five games they played. Their final game was actually a forfeit win over Pasadena.

Tennis team beats Faith Academy in home dual

The Lampasas tennis team took a break from tournaments as they played a match against Marble Falls Faith Academy on Friday.The Badgers won 17-2 on the night, but head coach Kenneth Peiser said the matches were close, and he saw a lot of good play.

The softball season is officially here. The Lady Badgers picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night with a 12-6 victory over Gatesville.Freshmen Gia Grasso and Hadlie Perry each hit a home run in the same inning in their official varsity debuts.
