The Badger soccer team had a great weekend, as they traveled to Canyon Lake for a three-day tournament and emerged as champions after winning all three of their matches. Lampasas started with a tough match against San Antonio Cole and fought back from an early 1-0 deficit to win 2-1.

Scoring has been tougher for the Lady Badger basketball team over the last few games, and last Friday’s road contest against the Jarrell Lady Cougars saw the trend continue. The Lady Badgers managed only 37 points in a 66-37 loss, and nearly half of those came from Mia Mulcahy, who finished with 15 points.

The Badger and Lady Badger powerlifting teams competed at their home meet on Thursday, and they both finished as winners. The boys’ team fielded 23 different competitors and finished with a total of 52 points -- 12 more than second-place Marble Falls.
