The Lady Badgers competed in the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association regional meet in Dublin last week, and the team finished 11 of the 25 teams. Two girls will advance to Corpus Christi to compete at the state meet March 18.

The Lady Badgers hosted the Burnet Bulldogs on Tuesday night, and they played a very tight softball game before giving up six runs in the top of the seventh inning to lose 9-0. Harley Wakeman was in the circle for Lampasas through the first six innings.

The Lady Badgers played their final home soccer match of the year Tuesday against Burnet. The score was 3-0 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs.

The Badger soccer team continues to fight hard in tough competition, although Lampasas came up just short Tuesday night, losing 2-1 to Burnet on the road. KJ Stephens converted from the penalty spot for the Badgers’ only goal, but the Bulldogs were able to convert one more goal.

The greens at Hancock Park Golf Course are going to be aerated early next month, causing the course to be closed to the public on April 4 and April 5. In addition to the aeration, the greens will also be sanded during this two-day period..
