The Lady Badgers competed in the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association regional meet in Dublin last week, and the team finished 11 th of the 25 teams. Two girls will advance to Corpus Christi to compete at the state meet March 18.
Nimsi Vergara in the 105-pound class and Lila Walling in the 259-pound class finished first and second in the state qualification, respectively.
