Five Lady Badgers compete at state powerlifting meet

Last week, five Lady Badgers went to the state powerlifting meet in Edinburg. Although they had no lifters medal, they did set multiple personal records at the end of the year.Aimee Weinheimer placed ninth of the 15 lifters in the 97-pound weight class.

Baseball team run-rules Jarrell for second time in week

The Lampasas baseball team continued its dominant start to district play, as the Badgers still haven’t played a full seven innings through four games against Taylor and Jarrell. The most recent game was a 22-0 win over Jarrell last Friday night.

Badgers declaw Cougars in five-inning, run-rule victory

In what was one of the most dominant displays of all time from a Lampasas baseball team, the Badgers beat the Jarrell Cougars 24-0 over five innings at home on Tuesday.Kade Landry got the start on the mound, and he tossed a no-hitter for the Badgers, recording 13 strikeouts over the five innings.

Softball team loses to Gateway after one bad inning

The Lady Badger softball team lost to Gateway 10-2 on the road Tuesday night.Gia Grasso hit a tworun homer in the top of the second inning which gave Lampasas a 2-1 advantage at the time.Gateway regained the lead in the bottom of the third with two runs to go up 3-2.

Track teams head to Brownwood for next meet

The next track meet on the schedule is set for today in Brownwood, and the teams are fast approaching the district schedule.So far, the Lampasas athletes have participated in two track meets this season: at Gatesville and Lago Vista.
