Schulze wins WTJCT 6-7 Division

Landon Schulze won the Coed 6-7 Division of the West Texas Junior Champions Tour golf finals Tuesday. He carded a 41 on the first nine-hole round Monday at The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland before roaring back with five birdies on Day 2 for a score of 32.

Football camp primes players for season

Middle school and freshman football camp starts Monday

Monday through Wednesday next week will see the final sports camp of the summer offered.The seventh-grade through ninth-grade “Fast, Physical, Fearless” football camp will take place from 8-10 a.m.each morning.Cost for the camp is $35 per student.

Lampasas youth league board members recall recent season

Couples compete in annual golf tournament

The annual Britches and Bows Golf Tournament took place last weekend at Hancock Park Golf Course. The tournament features two-person scramble teams consisting of one man and one woman and includes competition in multiple flights based on Saturday scores.
