Tournament season officially has started for the baseball team, as the Badgers went to Clyde for three days last weekend and finished 2-2 over the four games. The team started with a 10-0 win in five innings over Jim Ned.

The Lampasas boys’ soccer team is in the middle of its best season under three-year head coach Samuel Burnside. The Badgers put another feather in their cap Tuesday night when they traveled to Brownwood and beat the Lions 3-1.

The junior varsity girls’ basketball team ran the table in district play this season to finish as undefeated district champions with a team filled largely with freshmen. The girls went 8-0 through district play, and they won most of those games by double digits.

The softball season is underway after completion of the first tournament of the year. The Lady Badgers traveled to Stephenville last weekend to take on some tough competition.
