Badger grad heading to Lenoir-Rhyne University after 1,000-plus-point career

    After breaking records on the hardwood at Lampasas High School, Beau Patterson is ready to take his basketball talents to the Tar Heel State.

    In a matter of days, the 7-footer will pack his bags and settle in at Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. A move 1,000 miles away may be daunting, but Patterson knew the minute he set foot on campus that he had found his new home.
