Mr. Torres

Amado “Amos” Torres, 65, of Lometa died on Sept. 23, 2021, in San Antonio. He was born in Lometa to Jesus Torres and Lorenza Ruiz on Sept. 13, 1956. Amado had a sense of humor and was friendly to all. He worked for BNSF Railway for 39 years and was very proud of his time with the company.

Mrs. Smith

Linda I. Smith, 81, died on Sept. 28, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Round Rock. Funeral services for Linda will be at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Oct. 4 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Gillum Cemetery in Oakalla. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.

Mrs. Williams

Memorial services for Wilma Jean Williams will be held Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. at Family Harvest Church in Post. She died Sept. 25, 2021 in Lubbock. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Hudman Funeral Home in Post. Wilma was born at home in Lometa on Feb.

Mr. Meszaros

Zoltan Laszlo Meszaros, 84, of Lampasas died Sept. 3, 2021, at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Center in Temple. Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Sept. 30 from noon to 2 p.m. Graveside services will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 3 p.m.

Mr. Daude

Daniel Earl Daude, 78, of Adamsville died Sept. 22, 2021, at Coryell Medical Center in Gatesville. Daniel was born on Jan. 3, 1943, in Waco to Alvin Daude and Lydia Kattner Daude. He and Linda Thomas were married on April 11, 1962, in Lampasas.

Mrs. Felan

Virginia Felan, 68, of Lampasas died on Sept. 22, 2021. She was born on Feb. 28, 1953, in Seguin to Ramon Banda and Maria Sophia Vasquez. She was a homemaker, and loved to spend time shopping and watching her grandkids play football.

Mr. Forbes

Leroy Leland Forbes Sr., 79, of Lampasas, died on Sept. 11, 2021 at AdventHealth Rollins Brook. Memorial services will be held Sept. 27 at First Street Church of Christ. Interment with military honors and Masonic rights will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Leroy was born Sept.

Mr. Lockhart

Bill Lockhart, 62, of Lampasas died on Sept. 20, 2021, at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin. Bill was born on Nov. 10, 1958, in Burnet to Gordon Keith “Bud” Lockhart and Neva Jo Taylor Lockhart. He resided in Lampasas.

Mr. Hall

William “Bill” Charles Hall, 71, of Lampasas died at his residence on Sept. 21, 2021. He was born on Jan. 5, 1950, in Watseka, Illinois to Eldon Hall and Eunice Cook Hall. He came to Lampasas in 1985 from Colorado. He was a member of New Covenant Church in Lampasas. Bill was a retired firefighter.

Mr. Mooney
