Bonnie McNeil, 89, died on Nov. 18, 2023, in Junction. She was born on June 6, 1934, in Izoro to Jonce and Willie (Daggs) Edmondson. Graveside services will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen on Nov. 28 at 2 p.m.

Ralph Anthony Harris, 71, loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and “Poppy,” died on Nov. 20, 2023. Ralph, known also as “Tony” by many, died peacefully with his loving family at his side. He was born in Bruceton, Tennessee on April 14, 1952 to Oscar and Chestine Harris.

Debra “Debie” Sue Yelvington Sales, 57, died on Nov. 16, 2023, at her sister Barbie’s home in Converse. She was born on July 23, 1966, in Lubbock to Billy Mack Yelvington and Diana Aguirre. A memorial service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas at 11 a.m. on Nov. 25.

Brian Stacy Banks was born Sept. 5, 1958, in Houston. He died on Nov. 11, 2023, in Austin. Brian moved to Lampasas in 1977, where he met Marianne Landers. They were joined in marriage on Aug. 18, 1984, at First Baptist Church by their pastor, Mike Barnard.

Roger Dale Havins, 60, of Lampasas died on Oct. 29, 2023. Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. Roger was born on March 3, 1963, in Houston to David Hamilton Havins Sr. and Maxcine Gay (McAnally) Havins.

Sandee Hackbirth, 71, of Lampasas, died Nov. 9, 2023. She was born on Jan. 1, 1952, in Gloversville, New York to the late Herbert Gay and Norma J Raymond Gay. Sandee, the sassy queen of entrepreneurship, could whip up a storm in the kitchen or behind the wheel of her trucking company.

Jane Claire Field Shrader, 88, died on Nov. 11, 2023, in Burnet after a long illness. She was born on Feb. 18, 1935, in Many, Louisiana and spent her childhood in rural Louisiana. She met Dan Shrader while they were attending Stephen F. Austin State University.

Cora Lee Flud, 72, of Grand Prairie died on Nov. 7, 2023. She was born in Lampasas to Virgil and Corine Cox on Aug. 7, 1951. She married James Flud on Sept. 6, 1986 in Kempner. Cora graduated from Lampasas High School and attended El Centro College, where she received her nursing degree.

Doreen May Morris died on Nov. 9, 2023, at Lily Springs in Lampasas at the age of 85. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Oct. 10, 1938, to Edward and Eleanora Krueger. Doreen dedicated many years of her life to civil service, working as a computer programmer at Fort Hood.
