Lorenzo “Lencho” Resa died on Jan. 29, 2024, at his home in Belton. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Vann

Virgil Vaughn Vann, 88, of Lampasas died at his home on Jan. 25, 2024. Graveside services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Jan 28. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements. Vaughn was born on April 21, 1935, in Bell County to Leslie Lee Vann and Ora Viola (Carpenter) Vann.

Klevon Smith of Izoro died on Jan. 11, 2024. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 19 at School Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Perkins officiating. Interment followed at Hillsdale Cemetery. Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville had charge of arrangements. Klevon was born on Nov.

Ms. Pascoe

Stephanie Michelle Gill Pascoe, 48, of Lampasas died on Jan. 18, 2024. Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Stephanie was born on Dec. 29, 1975 in Burnet.

Mr. Sanchez

Aaron Sanchez, 38, of Beaumont and formerly of Lampasas, died on Jan. 11, 2024. Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 27 at 1 p.m., with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents.

Ms. Menendez

Corina K. Menendez, 67, died on Jan. 19, 2024, at her home in Lampasas. Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 25 at 3 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Corina was born Jan.

Mrs. Wittenburg

Ruth Ann “Ruthy” Gripon Wittenburg died on Jan. 17, 2024, at the age of 91. Ruthy was born April 5, 1932, in Houston to Lee and Ruth Gripon. She spent most of her young life in Houston attending camp every summer in Hunt at Camp Arrowhead.

Mr. Murphy

Virgil Owen Murphy died Dec. 31, 2023, in Kingsland. He was 92. Virgil or “V.O.” as many called him, was born Feb. 7, 1931 at his home in Kempner to W.E. and Eula Murphy. He was one of three siblings, including Doris and Colene.

Mrs. Feild

Mary Catherine Pickerill Feild, 79, of Kempner died on Jan. 7, 2024. Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 18 from 5-7 p.m. Mary was born on Nov. 9, 1944, in Saratoga, Texas.
