After a long battle with liver cancer, Maria Aurora Sunberg, 70, of Lampasas died on Nov. 13, 2024.She was known by many as Mamie, but to those closest to her she was Beaner, Mom, Honey, Sis, Tia, Grandma and Friend.

Mrs. Drinkard

Shanna Shinelle Adams Drinkard of McLouth, Kansas, died suddenly on July 13, 2024, at the age of 41.She was born May 12, 1983, in Abilene, Texas. She spent her early years in Texas before her family relocated to the Kansas City area.

Maurine Biles Wright, 89, of Houston died on Nov. 7, 2024.She was born on Jan. 30, 1935, in Buda to Maurine Crow Biles and Jeff Davis Biles.She grew up in San Marcos, attending San Marcos High School where she was a leader of the Student Council and a majorette.
