Robert Allen Carroll, 73, of Lampasas died at his home on Sept. 11, 2024.Born on Feb. 13, 1951, in Waco to Vernon and Mary Anne Carroll, Robert grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1969.

Services planned Wednesday for Faydell Vann

Velma Faydell Vann, 86, of Lampasas died on Sept. 13, 2024, at Lampasas Assisted Living.Visitation will be held at First Street Church of Christ on Sept. 18 at 10 a.m., with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Tallent

Travis Tallent, 33, died on Sept. 3, 2024. He lived a life marked by love, laughter, generosity and compassion.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 11 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville, with his uncle, Bob Jones, officiating. Interment will follow at Straley Cemetery in Adamsville.

Mrs. McCatherine

Mary McCatherine, 65, died on Sept. 3, 2024, at her home in Lampasas.A rosary will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m., with visitation to follow until 8 p.m.Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m.

Mr. Feild

Wendell Scott Feild, 73, died on Sept. 4, 2024, at his home, in Kempner.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 14.Scott was born on Sept. 5, 1950, in Lampasas to Wendell McGuire and Dorcilla Francile Feild.

Mrs. Alexander

Bettye Ruth Pullen Alexander was born Sept. 10, 1931, in New Home, Texas, to Ira Emory Pullen and Georgia Peyton Gallenkamp Pullen.She died in Waco on Aug. 29, 2024, 12 days before her 93rd birthday.

Mrs. Lancaster

Robin Lancaster, 82, died on Sept. 2, 2024, at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin.A memorial service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas at 10 a.m. on Sept. 7, with visitation an hour prior.

Mrs. Lindsey

Loretta Tittle Lindsey died on Sept. 2, 2024, at Lily Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lampasas.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Sept. 6 from 6-8 p.m.Services will be held on Sept. 7, also at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m.

Judy Allen

Judy Allen, 75, of Lometa, died at her home on Aug. 28, 2024.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Sept. 4 from 4-6 p.m.Graveside services will take place at Lometa City Cemetery on Sept. 5 at 10 a.m.Judy was born in Freeport on April 26, 1949.

Douglas Dee “Bugsy” Cude Jr., 75, of Lampasas died on Aug. 22, 2024.He was born to Douglas Dee Cude Sr. and Ina Mae Brazeale on Jan. 4, 1949, in Lampasas.He married Brenda (Trowbridge) on May 6, 1983.
