Leonard Everett Spivey, 84, of Lampasas, died on July 28, 2026. A memorial visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Aug. 1 from 5-7 p.m.Leonard was born in Lampasas on May 28, 1942, to Leonard William Spivey and Annette (Roberts) Spivey.

Doris Aileen Ricker, 99, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 30, 2026, at her home in Lampasas.Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Aug. 1 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Underwood

James Scott Underwood, known to many as Scotty, was born on July 13, 1954, in Burnet. He died on July 23, 2026.Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on July 28 at 2 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Cisneros

Blas Cisneros, 87, of Lampasas, died peacefully at his home on July 25, 2026.Blas was born on Feb. 3, 1939, to Jesus and Julia Cisneros in Crystal City, Texas. When he was 3, his family moved to Lampasas, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was the third of six children.

Mr. Justice

Terry Wayne Justice, known as “TJ,” was born in Big Spring on March 29, 1952.As a child, his family moved frequently while his father worked in the construction industry, eventually settling in Lampasas where Terry graduated with the Class of 1970.

JD Hatley

John “JD” Hatley, 18, of Lampasas, died on July 17, 2026.JD was born on May 18, 2008 in Georgetown to Richard and Lori Hatley.From a young age, he brought energy, sassy humor and kindness to everyone around him.

Ms. Loden

Bonnie Gay Loden, 73, of Lampasas, died July 14, 2026, peacefully at home.Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on July 25 at 2 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.Bonnie was born on Nov. 27, 1952, to Tom and Della Mae Loden.

Mrs. Banner

Janis Beth Capps Banner died peacefully at the age of 88. She was born on April 7, 1938, in Mason to J.B. Capps and Dorothy Saunders Capps.Janis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Macon Banner; her daughter, Jessica Blair Jones Wright; and her nephew, Shaun Capps.

Mrs. Clark

Gloria Jane Clark was born on Sept. 7, 1943, in Lampasas County. On July 14, 2026, after battling chronic kidney disease for many years, she died surrounded by her family in Bend, Texas.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on July 17 from 6-8 p.m.
