Diane Louise Tice, 61, died on Jan. 30, 2021 at her home in Lampasas.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at Sneed Funeral Chapel where people can share stories, memories and visit with the family.
Diane was born on Aug. 4, 1959 to William Morgan and Irene English in Midland, Michigan. She grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1977.
After high school, she attended Central Texas College in Killeen, where she received her degree in nursing.
She began working as a labor and delivery nurse, and continued her career in various specialties over the course of 19 years at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen and Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. She was proud to have spent her last years as a nurse working in the retirement homes of Lampasas, caring for people there.
Diane spent her free time making memories with grandchildren, working on crafts and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sons William Tice and wife Charlene of Lampasas, Adam Tice and wife Kristen of Lampasas, and Cole Kelley and wife Carolin of Copperas Cove; five grandchildren; sister Karen Rather and husband Jay of Copperas Cove; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was called "Mom" by many more.
