Luz Maria Rodriguez, 67, died on Feb. 6, 2021 at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Feb. 11 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, with a prayer service to start at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 12 at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Luz was born June 28, 1953 in Mathis to Julian and Julia Rodriguez, and she grew up there.
She married Martin Rodriguez in Belton, and they were married for 36 years.
She loved to dance and sing and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent a good amount of time on Facebook keeping up with family and friends.
Luz was preceded in death by her parents and son, Anthony Gutierrez.
Survivors include her husband, Martin; children Michael Windish, and wife Cayla, Bobbie Jean Rebando and husband Rick, Stephanie Menchaca and husband JJ, and Melissa Chappell; grandchildren Ryan Abbott, Brandon Abbott, Jacob Ynfante, Nicholas Ynfante, Grant Windish, Gavin Windish, Tanner Chappell, Bronsen Chappell, Hunter Rebando, Skyler Menchaca, Jersey Menchaca and Raylin Menchaca; greatgrandchildren Parker Abbott and Maddox Abbott; and siblings John Rodriguez, Noemi Torres, Nelda Wilkerson, Ben Rodriguez, Nedelia Fuentas, Norma Gonzales and Natalia Watson.
