Peggy Ann Hulsey, 76, died on Jan. 10, 2021 in Belton.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 15 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Jan. 16, also at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Briggs.

Peggy was born on July 12, 1944 in Briggs to Arthur and Lillie Bell Stiles. She grew up in Briggs and graduated from Briggs High School.

Soon afterward, she attended and graduated from Jackson Business College in Lampasas. In her early years, she was a member of Briggs Baptist Church, where she was baptized.

Professionally, Peggy worked mainly as a bookkeeper and office manager. For the latter part of her career she was employed at The Store in Florence.

Family was most important to Peggy, with whom she loved spending time. She also enjoyed cooking and country music.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Hulsey; daughter, Darla Laird; and siblings Barbara Cottle, Ray Stiles, Aaron David Stiles, J.T. Stiles, Pinky Stiles and Horace Clayton Stiles.

Survivors include her sons John Hulsey and wife Lisa, and David Hulsey; daughter Michele Anson and husband Tony; grandchildren Justin Laird, Samantha Laird, T.J. Anson, Rachel Anson and Amy Payne; and numerous other nieces, nephews and family members.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Peggy's name.
