Dixene Allison, 89, of Gatesville died Jan. 28, 2021 at a Gatesville hospital after a brief battle with COVID.
Emilye Dixene Allison was born on July 8, 1931 in Lampasas to the late Richard Thomas Bean and Cassie Mae McLean Bean. She attended schools in Lampasas.
She married Don Craft Allison on Dec. 23, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1996.
Dixene was a member of First Methodist Church in Gatesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant brother, Richard Thomas Bean.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathye Schade and husband Jay of Pflugerville, and Kaye Lucero and husband Larry of Foley, Alabama; sons Kenneth Allison and wife Michelle of Gatesville, and Keith Allison and wife Dondi of Gatesville; grandchildren Tyler Schade and wife Joy of Golden, Colorado, Kindyl Schade and Chris Moore of Seminole, Florida, Trent Schade of Pflugerville, Kinsey Flores and husband Mike of Tampa, Florida, Luke Lucero of Covington, Louisiana, Justin Allison and wife Miranda of Gatesville, Clayton Allison of Rogers, Maci and MacKenzie Allison of Gatesville, Ryan Allison and wife Ashton of Cedar Park, and Katie Allison and Matt Lozano of Austin; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
