Trimming continues around city electric lines

McCoy Tree Surgery workers cut branches that were weighing down power lines behind residences along County Road 4017. Crews were trimming trees Thursday and Friday in the Woodland Acres subdivision across from Lampasas High School. The work is part of an annual contract the firm has with the city of Lampasas.

Felan arrested

Lampasas law enforcement apprehended the fifth suspect in a narcotics trafficking case after a raid on an alleged Lometa drug house last week. Buck Ryan Felan, a 37-yearold Lometa man, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, between four and 200 grams.
