Holy Family Catholic Church will hold its annual Fall Festival Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 1001 Georgetown Rd. in Copperas Cove. A kids’ train ride, games and prizes, vendors, bingo, food and entertainment will be part of the family fun available.

The Pierian Club met Sept. 12 in the historic M.D. Abel Co. office building, formerly known as the Manuel Hardware building on East Third Street. President Alicia Straley called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. Twenty-one of the 22 active members were in attendance, along with an honorary member.
