Taylor Creek students earn special degree

Although not yet in their teenage years, 73 Taylor Creek Elementary School students acquired their “master’s degree” in a special ceremony Thursday.The TCE master’s degree program is a six-week initiative held twice per week after school.

Lady Badger soccer team loses on penalty kicks to Academy

Last Friday, the varsity girls’ soccer team traveled to Academy for the second district contest of the season. Lampasas played to a 1-1 draw after full time but ultimately lost on penalty kicks.“We came out hard and fought for 80 minutes,” head coach Kim Burnside said.

Lampasas powerlifters compete at Brady meet

Last Thursday, both the boys’ and girls’ powerlifting teams traveled to Brady for their next meet.At the Heart of Texas Invitational, the Lampasas girls’ team finished in fifth place with a total of 21 points, according to coach TJ Cleavinger.

County Road 2200 closed for repairs
