BLOOD DRIVE The American Red Cross will hold its next Community Blood Drive in Lampasas on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Texas Comptroller’s office has released sales tax data for the month of May that shows allocations across the state were up 12% more than in May 2021. Rebates to cities and counties are based on local sales made in March by businesses that report their tax monthly, and sales made in January, February and March by those who file quarterly.

Lampasas water got a clean bill of health in the 2021 water quality report, despite a “major violation” of protocol from a water provider in 2020. City officials released the water quality report last week.
