Future city zoning regulation changes possible

City Secretary Becky Sims opened a council discussion on potential “comprehensive updates” to zoning regulations. After presenting suggestions about building height regulations to the Lampasas Planning and Zoning Commission during a May 5 meeting, Sims said she also was seeking feedback from the Lampasas City Council.

Lunar eclipse makes appearance in Lampasas

A lunar eclipse was visible in Lampasas County skies on Sunday evening. The 90-minute event could be seen across much of the Earth, best from the Americas and western Africa. A total solar eclipse will be observed in April 2024. VERONICA BUTLER
