Lampasas County 27 th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings. Defendant Jose Gerardo Chaples-Bruzon of Las Vegas, Nevada entered a plea of true and was found guilty of fraudulent use/possession of identifying informationnumber of items less than five.

Officials talk airport master plan

Lampasas City Council voted unanimously to move forward with a master plan for the Lampasas Municipal Airport. The airport master plan project was identified through a Capital Improvement Projects process and a joint meeting between Lampasas City Council and the Airport Advisory Board several months ago, said City Manager Finley deGraffenried.

Local ag advocates serve Alaskan students

A former Lampasas FFA student and a longtime FFA instructor will venture to Alaska next week to assist fellow ag instructors in the 2022 Silent Springs Alaska FFA Chapter Development Camp. The camp will take place from May 30 to June 3 at Camp Li-Wa just outside of Fairbanks.
