Electric Superintendent Geagley to retire June 24

Lampasas Public Works Department Electric Superintendent Flint Geagley will retire June 24 after 36 years of service with the city. Geagley began his employment with Lampasas in 2006 as a meter reader and said he stayed with the department because he enjoyed working in the community.

Good attendance at reunion

Thirty-five family members were in attendance at the Whitehead reunion, held June 11 at the Lometa Church of Christ annex. Those family members represented four of the seven children of Elzie and Mary Whitehead: Leroy, Mary Lou, Faye and Adele.
