The city of Kempner will no longer have a city manager in its new fiscal year.
City Manager David C. Williams II submitted his resignation Tuesday before the Kempner City Council regular meeting.
A Lampasas County official is leading in negotiations to continue ambulance services. Acadian Ambulance, which has served the county for decades, is asking for an annual subsidy totaling $1,354,000.
