Summer meal program continues at Hanna Springs campus

Lampasas ISD Nutrition Services is offering healthy, no-cost summer meals to children ages 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old.The summer meal program at Hanna Springs Elementary School serves breakfast from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m.

Camper rollover on U.S. 281 causes extensive damage

A collision Sunday between an SUV towing a camper and a truck hauling a boat trailer on U.S. Highway 281 led to extreme damages.The wreck occurred in the mid-afternoon at about 2:30 p.m. in Burnet County, south of the Lampasas County line.

Man arrested on charge of beating girlfried with club

A Lampasas County man was arrested on a felony assault charge last week after authorities said a domestic argument became violent.
