Agricultural producers who have not yet completed their crop acreage reports after spring planting should make an appointment with the San Saba-Mills or Lampasas-Burnet County Farm Service Agency before the deadline.

Fifteen contestants were part of the Spring Ho Beauty Pagant Monday night, held at the Lampasas High School auditorium. The court represents Lampasas at various festivals throughout the Hill Country, and the girls serve as ambassadors for the community. Recent construction work on West Avenue C has led to a closure of the roadway, officials said. City staff told the Dispatch City staff told the Dispatch Record that a closure of West Avenue C last week is one of several that may occur until October as construction is done on the roadway.
