Lampasas Community Garden cultivates growing knowledge

After seeds were planted in the mind of a local gardener, the Lampasas Community Garden has grown to fruition as a source of knowledge and cooperative spirit. Janet Crozier, a certified square-foot garden instructor, established the community garden in the summer of 2020 after hearing interest for such a project at a town hall meeting.

Beto visits Lampasas

Beto O’Rourke, Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Texas, was in Lampasas Thursday as part of his 49-day “Drive for Texas” campaign. The event took place at the former middle school cafeteria on Western Street, with both Democrat and Republican voters in attendance, approximately 285 in total.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has announced an all-new digital tag option for this season’s hunt. With licenses available for purchase as of Monday, hunters might consider the new digital tag available from TPWD.

School board honors outgoing member
