School board discusses class size waivers, facility plan

The Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees met Monday night, and most of the meeting was taken care of with the consent agenda. Before the consent agenda was approved, board member Bill Brister wanted to discuss the approval of class size waiver requests.

Lampasas approves first reading of new tax rate, budget

Lampasas City Council approved the first readings of the adopted budget and tax rate in unanimous votes on Monday, and approved the first drafts of two interlocal agreements. The council passed the first reading of an ordinance to establish the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget, and the first reading of an ordinance establishing a new tax rate of $0.3156 per $100 valuation.
