AdventHealth to hold memorial ceremony for bereaved families

In recognition of National Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month, AdventHealth Central Texas will host a remembrance event for bereaved families.The annual Perinatal Loss Bereavement Ceremony will take place Oct. 20 at 3 p.m. at the Ambulatory Surgery Center, 2201 S. Clear Creek Rd. in Killeen.

Range Tour planned at Motl Ranch

The 2024 Lampasas & Mills County Range Tour will be offered at the Motl Ranch outside of Lampasas on Oct. 28. The ranch address is 8218 County Road 1255.Registration at the gate begins at 8:30 a.m., with the program to extend from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $20.

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings.Defendant Macy Pehl Lunsford of Lampasas had probation amended to include time at an Intermediate Sanction Facility. Lunsford is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
