National First Responders Day recognized

Local first responder organizations were recognized last week by a Lampasas City Council proclamation in honor of National First Responder Day on Oct. 28. Among those to receive the proclamation were representatives from Lampasas Police Department, Lampasas Fire Department and Hamilton County EMS.

‘Christmas Around the World’ is theme for museum contests

The Lampasas County Museum will host its annual Christmas Tree and Gingerbread House contests once again this year. The 2024 theme is “Christmas Around the World.” Christmas trees and gingerbread houses should reflect this theme.Decorated, artificial trees may be entered on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m.

County clerk’s digital records to go live Nov. 15

After a multi-month process of digitization, the past 30 years of property records will become available for remote internet search on Nov. 15.

CTE students offer program highlights for Lampasas ISD school board

Ten Lampasas High School students involved in Career and Technical Education programs reviewed their work for the Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees during Monday’s regular meeting.Also, CTE Director Liz Haviland provided board members with updates about the program.
