A retired Extension agent provided tree planting tips during a Fruit Tree Workshop hosted recently by Texas A&M Agrilife Extension. Wade Hibler, a retired county Extension agent from Burnet County, covered topics related to successfully establishing fruit trees in Lampasas County.

New drug awareness programs are being instituted at Lampasas Independent School District’s Disciplinary Alternative Education Program. The goal of the drug programs is to help tackle the ongoing increase in students participating in THC-vaping.
